Toy safety
The part of the site we would rather over-explain than under-explain.
Age grading
Every product shows a real age range on its card and its page. It reflects what a child can physically and developmentally do with the toy — not a marketing range chosen to widen the audience. When we were between two grades, we chose the higher one.
Small parts
Any product containing a small part carries a choking-hazard warning, rendered directly from the product record rather than written by hand into the copy. That means it is structurally impossible for us to list a toy with small parts and forget to warn you about it.
28 of our 53 products contain no small parts at all. Everything in Ages 2–3 is in that group by design.
Materials
Every product page lists what the toy is actually made of. Paints and finishes on our wooden toys are water-based and non-toxic. Silicone is food-grade. We do not use PVC or phthalates.
Compliance
Our products are tested to ASTM F963, the US toy safety standard, and labeled per the CPSC small-parts rule at 16 CFR 1500.19. Certificates are available on request — email help@vectortoyco.com with the product name.
Recalls
If we ever recall a product, we will post it here, email everyone who bought it, and refund in full whether or not you still have the receipt. There are no open recalls.
Supervision
Adult supervision is recommended for the ride-on, the workbench and anything with cords or marbles. Balloons, small balls and marbles are the three things that most often cause harm in a home with a toddler in it, and no age grading substitutes for keeping them out of reach.
Safety questions go to a person, not a form: help@vectortoyco.com. We answer these first, ahead of everything else in the inbox.
